On April 19, 2025, surrounded by her devoted husband, loving family, and friends, Beverley Sandra "Bevie" Guben (Née Moses) passed away peacefully at her home after a courageous and ferocious battle against esophageal, colon, and rectal cancer. She will be profoundly missed by her beloved husband, Irving Murray (Moishe), with whom she shared sixty-four wonderful years of marriage, filled with love and companionship.

Beverley was a cherished mother to her children: Michael Howard, Melvyn William, Jason Neil and Tracey Beth, Sheri Ellen and Michael Joseph. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to her eleven grandchildren: Amanda Rose, David Justin, Ashley Yale, Courtney Alexandra and Emma, Jamie Meghan, Brittany Leeann and Tristan, Sydney Paige and Brandon James, Madison Dawn and Santo, Arielle Victoria, Aidyn Tyler, and Avery Jade. Her legacy continues through her six great-grandchildren: Juliette, Jake, Mason, Nathan, Remy, and Wyatt.

She was the loving sister of Arthur and Faigy, Jerry and Frema, and Joey; and sister-in-law of Harvey and the late Mindy. Beverley was also a special aunt to many nieces and nephews, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Richard Dalfen and the oncology department at St. Mary's Hospital, Dr. Lorenzo Ferri and the thoracic surgery team at the Montreal General Hospital, Dr. Larry Lee at the Gastroenterology department at the Glen Hospital. A special thank you goes to her devoted caregivers, Imelda, Karen, and Lynett. An extra special note of thanks to Tracey Beth (Bev’s favorite daughter-in-law), Cousin Norma Olshansky, and the Palliative team at Aux Trois Sentiers for their extraordinary support and care in her final few days, fulfilling her wish, and Irving’s promise, for her to pass at home.
