Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the age of ninety-two. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Ronnie Goldberg. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Mitchell Goldberg, Steven Goldberg and Sylvie Roy, Ronna Goldberg and Lorne Cohen. Cherished ‘Grammie’ of Jordan, Matthew, Kerri, Shannon and Jason, Jeffrey and Bianca, and Ryan. Very proud ‘Great-Grammie’ of Zach. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Norman and Frances Katz, Claire and Irving Goodman; and sister-in-law of Murray and Millie Goldberg. She will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, and family, and dearly missed by Rhoda Bobrove and her special ‘gal pals’, Beverly, Sandra, Lily, Millie, Myrna, and Elaine. Lila’s family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude Dr. Stanley Heisler and his team for their devotion, as well as the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Intensive Care and Palliative Care Units at St. Mary’s Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
