It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Eva on Friday, February 14, 2025, surrounded by family in her ninety-second year. Born in Hungary, she was the only child of the late Elizabeth Mandel Roth and the late Endre Rosenbluth. Beloved wife of the late Nathan for forty-seven years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Edita and Ken Cieply, and Susan Friedman. Precious grandma of Adam (Lisa). Adored great-grandma (GG) of Emma and Julia. Eva will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and by all who knew and loved her. She was an extraordinary woman who was ahead of her time in so many ways, known for her strength and gentle nature, her warmth and generosity, her intelligence and kindness, her love of life and family, as well as her incredible determination and grace. Eva will be deeply missed. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, February 17 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Montreal Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
