Helen Sher (Née Shuter)

1934-2025

Formerly of Montreal, Helen passed away peacefully in London, England. Helen, a beautiful, creative, strong, inspiring, ever youthful, generous and kind soul is reunited with her beloved husband and soul mate, the late Willer Sher, for whom she was married to for sixty years. Loving Mother and mother-in-law of Glenda and Robert Haas, Carla and the late Steve Austen. Cherished Grandma of Chloe and Amber, and their partners Dean and Tom. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Judy and Frank Garber, the late Marcia and late Sol Cartman, the late Ben and the late Olga Sher, the late Ralph and the late Bunny Sher. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. Special thanks to her angels Linda and Clara, and to all the other caregivers and staff at Love Day for their exceptional care, kindness and devotion. 

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 16 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Hebrew Sick benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
