It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Debra Fitleberg, who left us on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, after a courageous three-year battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of sixty-two. Debra was a remarkable woman whose spirit and love impacted everyone she encountered.

As a devoted mother, Debra poured her heart and soul into her children, Jessica Sebbag, Jason Sebbag and his wife Gabby, whose lives were forever shaped by her unwavering support and kindness. It was that love that drove her to survive years after her initial prognosis of just a few months. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, including time spent with Jessica’s beloved dog, Mac, goofing around and dancing until her last days.

Loving daughter of the late Eleanor and the late Albert. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Andrea and Yehuda, Richard, and Elisa. Beloved aunt of Zohar, Zahava, Boaz, and Brandon. Debra also had a very special relationship with Julia who she cared for deeply. She created countless joyful memories and laughter with her family, whose bonds will endure thanks to her warmth and infectious smile. Debra will be missed by her family, her many friends, and all those who knew her.
