Tzvi (Henryk) Flakowicz

Peacefully, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Miri Flakowicz for sixty-three years. Loving father and father-in-law of Daphna Flakowicz and Mark Stachiew, Daliah and Chen Naor. Cherished Saba Tzvi of Matthew and Samson Flakowicz-Stachiew; Barr, Sa’ar and Rann Naor. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Ahuva and the late Dr. Yehoshua (Shuka) Earon. 

Tzvi was a Holocaust survivor and also a veteran of the Israeli Defense Force. He was a well known and respected figure in Montreal’s garment industry. An avid athlete, Tzvi was a member of the Wolf Pack and later, a member of the Beaconsfield Cycling Club. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends in Montreal and Israel.
