Thelma Melnick (Toby) (née Corber)

Peacefully, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Beloved wife  of the late Hershey for sixty-eight years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Maria, Jeffrey and Randee, Jody and Elliot. Adored Bubbie of Lauren and Nick, Matthew; Jordana and Mitchell, Jeremy, Samantha, Haley and Matt. Proud great-grandmother of Jordyn, Blake, Carter, Rose, Harry, and Sonny. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Joseph and the late Sandra Corber, the late Sylvia and the late Harry Russman, the late Reuben and the late Sybil Corber; and sister-in-law of Margo and the late Johnny Melnick. Toby will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the 5th floor staff at St. Mary’s Hospital as well as Teresa and the 3rd floor staff at the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their warm reception and wonderful care during Toby’s brief stay.

Graveside service on Friday, November 1 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rodeph Sholom Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at Jeffrey’s home. Contributions in Toby’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
