Holocaust Survivor
Peacefully, on Shabbat, December 20, 2024, in his ninety-second year. Beloved husband of Miriam for sixty-eight years. Loving father and father-in-law of Sarah (Peter), Howard and Margo, Morrie and Nathalie. Caring son of the late Yahaskiel and the late Frandla. Proud Zaidy of Joshua and Liv, Aaron, Elana and Andrew, Michelle and Byron, Jason and Nicole, Ali, Jeremy and Cristina. Double Zaidy of Maya, and Ethan. Predeceased by his siblings Abie, and Itka, who were also Holocaust survivors. Dear brother-in-law of Freda and Issie. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and all who knew him. Special thanks to his wonderful caregivers, Edwidge, Rainier, Maggie, Stephanie, Antonine, Carolde, and Sonia, as well as the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre.
