With her family by her side, on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in her ninety-sixth year. Beloved wife of Josef z”l for seventy-six years. Loving and respected mother and mother-in-law of Leo and Bonnie, Rohna and the late Harry. Cherished Bubby of Erin and Alex Halpern, Alyssa and Yair Meyers, Zac and Erica Grunstein. Proud great-grandmother of Charlee, Emma, Solomon, Jack, Jacob, Ami, Yoni, Harry, and Haley. Predeceased by her seven siblings. Special thanks to the exceptional staff at Maimonides Geriatric Centre, Dr. Blair Schwartz, Dr. Corey Miller, Dana Marshak, doctors, nurses and staff of the Emergency Department and ICU at the Jewish General Hospital, as well as to Rose’s wonderful caregivers, Mercy, Faith, and Alma.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 12 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the King George Cemetery, 5015 rue de la Savane. Shiva at her son’s home.
