Peacefully, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in his ninety-first year. Beloved husband of Nina Tobias for forty-five years. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Suzin Schiff and Imant Malins, Ariella Schiff and Sandro Mancuso. Very proud Zaida of Max and Grace, Izak; and Xavier. He was also the father of Dr. Benjamin Schiff (Eileen) and the grandfather of Joshua and Jessica. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Morty and Rebecca, Isaac and Jan; and brother-in-law of Teresa, and Antonio and Cristina. Lou will be deeply missed and remembered by his nieces, nephews, family, and many dear friends. During his forty plus years as a lawyer, he thrived and took great pride in supporting his clients both professionally and personally. Special thanks to Rabbi Cahana and his family for their continued support; and to his caregivers Leonor and Maribel for their care and devotion.
