Peacefully, in her ninetieth year, on Friday, July 12, 2024. Devoted wife of the late Lionel. Loving friend of Frank Markus. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Mark and Vera, Jamey and Kathy, Cindy, Cara and Jeff, and the late Carey. Cherished “Mama” of Roey and David; Aaron, Lauren and Ryan; Lexie and Haley. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mel and Michele Efros, Donna and the late Michael Lehner, Judy and the late Marvin Potechin. Liola will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to all her caregivers especially Liza and Mary Ann. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, July 15 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her home.
