Peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the age of eighty-seven. Beloved husband of Helen Hoppenheim for sixty-six years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Janet and Frank Shamash, Sharon Caplan and Kyle McManus, and Glenda Caplan. Proud and loving Zaidie of Michael, and Raquel; and Rianne. Son of the late Douglas and the late Jennie Caplan; and son-in-law of the late Mayer and the late Rose Hoppenheim. Predeceased by his dear brother and sister-in-law Dave and Faye Caplan; and brother-in-law of the late Berel and Leslie Hoppenheim. Jack will be missed by his family, extended family, friends and by all who had the good fortune to know him. The family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude his caregivers Michael, Jeanine, and Shazia for their empathy and friendship.
