Comfortably, at home, on Monday, September 9, 2024. Reunited with his beloved wife, Cookie and by his precious daughters, Maxine and Gloria. He leaves behind Maxine’s husband and devoted son-in-law, Marvin Rosenblatt, his treasured grandchildren, Stefanie Bergman (Jeffrey) and Josh (Brett); and darling great-granddaughters, Saidye and Madilynn. Predeceased by his dear siblings and their spouses, Goldie and Harold Kahne, Bernice and Sam Klamph, Sylvia and Alec Dollin, Buzzy and Rita Shapiro. Harvey will also be dearly missed by his sisters-in-law, Edith Simand (Murray) and Carol Simmerman, as well as by his many nieces, nephews, and long-time friends. Harvey came from modest means, but with grit and hard work, he achieved great things and built a beautiful life for himself and his family. Heartfelt thanks to Edith for all her support, his caregivers who provided excellent care in his final years, and to his dedicated doctors and nurses from the CSLC René-Cassin and the Palliative Care Unit at the Mount Sinai Hospital.
