Shiva hours: Monday from 6:45 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:45 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Services at 6:45 p.m. daily.
Please note that Freddy will be sitting shiva on Monday at Cindy’s home, continuing Thursday and Friday at his home.
Peacefully, on Shabbat, September 14, 2024 (11 of Elul), surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Jackie for fifty-six years. Loving father and father-in-law of Sharon and Mark, Natalie and Jay, Cindy and Jonathan. Proud Zaidie of Gabrielle, Samuel, and Max; Aiden, Samara, Matthew, and Benjamin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Freddy and Joannie. Much loved cousin of David and Frema Engel. Danny will be deeply missed by all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, September 16 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Chomedey Congregation Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. Shiva at Cindy and Jonathan’s home Monday through Friday.
