Betty Youster (née Weinstein)

Peacefully, on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the age of ninety-five. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Sonny Youster for fifty-five years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Hershey and Dianne Youster, Dr. Jeffrey Youster, Debbie and Marvin Zeitz, Rosanne and Dr. Michael Lazarus, and Carl Youster. Cherished grandmother of Sean and Melanie, Matthew and Leah, Randee; Jonathan, Stewart and Andrew, Justin and Jackie, and Amy. Proud great-grandmother of Lexie, Jacob; Zachary, and Zoe Zeitz. Devoted daughter of the late Norman and the late Rachel Weinstein. Predeceased by her siblings Mary and Issie, Max, Irene and Sam, Eddie and Fanny, Freddie and Bea, and Jack and Joan. Dear sister-in-law of Gabor and the late Beryl, the late Beatrice and the late Lazar, the late Joe and the late Irene. Betty will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her. Special thanks to the caring staff at King David, Shari at the Waldorf, and the staff at the Jewish Eldercare. The family would like to thank her caregiver Ramona for her kindness and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 13 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
