Allan Sheldon Levine, a beloved and cherished member of his family and community, passed away on January 28th, 2025, in Thornhill, Ontario. Born on May 12th, 1946, in Montreal, Quebec, Allan was the loving and devoted husband of Carla for more than 55 years. He was the beloved son of the late Annie and the late Mendel Levine, and the beloved son-in-law of the late Lillian and the late Ralph Muscant.  Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Irwin and the late Kathy Levine, and Linda  and the late Rick Muscant.

Allan was a dedicated and loving father to his children, Warren (Cheryl), Robyn (Steve), and Jeff (Anna), and a proud and adoring Zaida to his grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Alyssa, Zachary, Alexandra , Charlie, Logan, Rylan, and Lily. His love and care for his family knew no bounds.

After receiving his Bachelor of Commerce degree, Allan dedicated his professional life to accounting, where he made a significant impact over the years. He was a passionate and dedicated School Board Trustee for 25 years at the Lester B Pearson School Board in Quebec, where he worked tirelessly to improve the educational experience for countless students. Additionally, he spent 11 years as the Treasurer of his building’s condo board.

Allan was a man of many talents and passions. He created countless treasured memories with his family, particularly during their camping trips in the family trailer in the early years. His love for playing saxophone in the Air Force Reserve Band only ended so he could dedicate more time to his children. He had endless love for his many, many friends who are left with lasting treasured memories.

The funeral service for Allan Sheldon Levine will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 30th, at 11:00 am, followed by internment at Pardes Chaim Cemetery. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will continue to inspire and uplift those who were touched by his presence. Allan will be deeply missed, and his memory will be forever cherished by his family, friends, and community.
