Peacefully on Monday, February 24th, 2025, surrounded by her family. Adored wife of the late Philip (Pinchas) Ackerman. Beloved mother of Bryna, Susie, and Morris. Dear mother-in-law of Ron Bogoch, and Steve Cohen. Proud Bubby and Safta Bubby to her grandchildren and great grandchildren in Canada and Israel.  A Holocaust survivor, she remained gracious, smiling and witty; always grateful for any kindness shown to her. Her warmth and joie de vivre made it fun to be in her company. We will remember her forever with so much love. Special thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the devoted staff at 6th floor South of Maimonides Geriatric Centre, and caregivers, Nina and Gail, for their exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, February 25 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Worker’s Circle #3 (D13), Baron De Hirsch Cemetery, De la Savane. Shiva at the home of Susie and Steve Cohen.
