With dignity in his 81st year on Sunday, February 23, 2025 with Myrna by his side. Beloved husband of Myrna Dalfen for 57 wonderful years. Son of the late Bennie and the late Helen Halickman; and son-in-law of the late Berl and the late Honnie Dalfen. Adored father and father-in-law of Joshua and Sharona Halickman of Jerusalem, Israel; Dr. Isaac and Amy Halickman of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Very proud and loving Zaidie of Dov and Mollye, Moshe, Yehuda; Allison, Daniel, Yoni, Lizzie and Jenny. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Jack and Beverly, the late Evelyn (Cookie) and the late Franklin Seligman; and brother-in-law of Allan and Elaine Dalfen and the late Phyllis and the late Monty Silver. He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families; and lovingly remembered by his family, friends and colleagues. Mel had many talents. He was especially known as a great storyteller and an avid lover of music. He was devoted to his family, Eretz Israel, and his beloved sports teams. The family extends sincere gratitude to doctors, nurses and staff at the Jewish General Hospital.
