Stephen Shipper

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Stephen on Sun Feb 23. 2025. Beloved husband of the late Erika (Poopsie) Krawetz. Loving father and father-in-law to Nadine (Dina) Procyk (Brian Desmarteau). Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Bella and Leon Celemencki and Allan and Elaine Shipper.  He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as his great nephews and nieces whom he was able to spend precious time with most recently. He will be fondly remembered by his close friends, his West Island community, his extended family and friends in Philadelphia, Toronto, and  “Les Boys” whom he always shared great laughs with. Steve may be gone - but he will forever be remembered for his great dance moves and “ spoon clacking” which he perfected over the decades. Special thanks to the staff of the Emergency and ICU Departments of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care, kindness, and devotion. Graveside on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Montreal Worker’s Circle Cemetery, DDO.
