David Schemtob

Peacefully at home surrounded by his children on Friday, April 25, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Leonie. Adored father and father-in-law of Heskel Schemtob and Nadine Greenstein, Jane Schemtob and Douglas Barnes. Predeceased by his two brothers and three sisters. He leaves to mourn nieces and nephews and many dear friends. The family would like to thank all those who stood by him and helped him throughout the years, especially his caregivers Irene and Terry. Special thanks to Dr. Sabah Bekhor who guaranteed a long and healthy life. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at the Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue Monday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. Evening services at 6:30 p.m.
