Peacefully, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in his home, having spent his last years enveloped in the love and support of his family. Loving husband of Ora Stolovitz for sixty-four years. Loving father of Cynthia Stolovitz (Cliff Stendel), Gary Stolovitz (Judy Nechamkin), and Pamela Stolovitz (Gad Friedman). Loving grandfather of Shavaun Stendel, Ashley Stendel (Gianni Conti), Jake Stendel, Ben Stolovitz, Adele Stolovitz, Ruthie Stolovitz, Samantha Friedman and Leah Friedman.

Arie was born in Israel in 1929 to “chalutzim” from Poland and served as a first lieutenant in the newly formed Israel Defense Forces. Arie moved to Canada in 1956 and married his beloved Ora in 1961, settling together in Montreal. Together they raised three wonderful children of whom he was very proud, instilling in them the value of Jewish education and the love of Israel. Arie established a successful career as a building developer. Arie and Ora did everything together and were heavily involved in the Jewish community, raising funds and awareness for the State of Israel Bonds. Over the years, they lovingly opened their home to many functions on behalf of charities. Arie loved people and life and was well known for his generosity and his wonderful sense of humor. Arie had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was truly loved by all who knew him.
