To the Myer family; Pls accept my sincere condolences on ur mom’ s Passing. This brought me back 60 years when we all lived on Westluke in those 8 houses built at the same time. My late mom Sonia became quite good friends with Helen & they got together often. I remember ur home as yesterday. & I remember trying to teach myself how to differentiate btwn Sheila & Carol. Those were great times we all had. I blieve u were closer to my sister Tema’s age. How lucky u were to have had her for so many years. I used to bump into her the odd times ions ago & when I reminded her who I was we had such nice chats. Ur mom was a fine lady who always welcomed us into your home. May u kno of no more sorrow & hold onto your precious memories at this difficult. A mother will always be a mother, no matter the age. My thoughts r with you. BDE. Peacefully, on Friday, April 29, just shy of her 100th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Myer. Loving mother and mother-in-law of David (JoAnn), Sheila Miller (Gary) and Carol Loudermilk (Les). Cherished grandmother of Sam Myer (Silja), Josh Miller (Erica) and Leah Myer (Andrew). Proud great-grandmother of Moses and Meyer Miller and Archie Stewart. Dear sister of the late Lily Rackmil (Bernard), the late Reuben Ship (Elaine) and the late Sylvia Silverman (Sidney). Helen will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Helen’s sense of humour, cheerful spirit, easy manner, and love of family will be fondly remembered. Special thanks and grateful appreciation to Dr. Saboya, MLC Health and the staff of the Rockcliffe Retirement Residence for their support and compassion. Graveside service on Thursday, May 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ship Family Circle Cemetery, Baron de Hirsch, de la Savane. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
