So sorry to see this. Barry and I were bussed to the Talmud Torah on St. Kevin from St. Laurent during the late 50's, and were later schoolmates in high school. He was a bit heavy back then and had the affectionate nickname of Chubby. Many years after loosing touch, he made a cold call on me at my work and, even though he was no longer that heavy for his size, I immediately recognized him and blurted out "Chubby!!" and he knew me right away and was cheerful about it.

Dear Nicole and Family, I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Barry. Barry was part of the St. Laurent group that I met at Sir George Williams University way back when. This group of friends still remains in touch with each other to this day with frequent lunches . Stories are told of past and present events and predictions of future ones, however we can never be prepared for days like yesterday .
