Dear Ann, your families and all who loved Manny, I was saddened to learn of your huge loss of your beloved Father, Manny. I only met him on two occasions but I do remember two things: his love for your Mom and his family and his sense of humour. There are so many wonderful memories of happier times and I hope they help all of you during this difficult time. May he Rest In Peace and may all of you be spared further sorrow. With love, Ruthy ✡️🙏🌈🕍🥰

Uncle Manny, what can I say. You left a brace of sadden hearts behind and deprived us all of a 100 year old, birthday, party, you were so looking forward to. But then again knowing you, you would want us all to celebrate the memory of your life anyway. You did it your way. It was a great honour to have known you and be part of your family. May God grant you the serenity you rightfully deserve.

Dear Lillian, David, Rachelle, Naomi, and family, my deepest condolences for your great loss. I was blessed to get to know Manny over the past 5 months at the Cambridge. He was an amazing storyteller and comedian, entrepreneur/salesman, boxer, a proud Jew, and most important of all a devoted, loving husband and family man. He was a real Mensch always putting the needs of his family before his own in every way! He was a true inspiration and will be missed by all who knew him. May he be happily reuinted with "his girl" Mary, the love of his life.

I was lucky enough to have Manny in my acting class at Le Cambridge for many years. He’d often show up early to show me the latest story he had written and we’d have a good laugh. He brought so much joy, compassion and fun to the class. I will miss him terribly. Rest In Peace my sweet buddy.

Dear Ann, David, Bernice and families, I was so saddened to hear about your dad’s passing. It seems like only yesterday we were sitting around your kitchen table playing hearts and your dad would pass by on his way downstairs and always stop and see how things were going., he was a mench in the truest sense of the word. Your mom making us « tea « ..I send you all my deepest sympathies and that only the good memories of happier times, help you all through the difficult days to come.

Dear Ann, I was very sad to hear the news of your father's passing. We met on our trip to Israel and will never forget how happy he was to be there with you. His zest for life and determination not to miss any of the sight seeing tours was amazing. Cherish the memories. May he rest in peace.

To Manny's close and extended families: Lillian & I were shocked to get the sad news of "Mister/ Monsieur Manny's" passing, as he was known by his hundreds of clients. Only a couple of weeks ago he called us with an invitation to his upcoming 100th birthday party. When we asked him why he was inviting us so far in advance, he answered in typical Manny style, " to give you lots of time to save up your money to buy me a very nice birthday present" We were friends for over 50 years, and every day was an adventure. The stories and jokes just kept rolling off of his tongue like he was on the Ed Sullivan Show. We worked together for many years and i used to pick nim up in the morning and we would drive down to "the shop", and back home in the afternoon, to the love of his life, his wife Mary. Their growing family was everything to them, and they were very proud. Their love and respect to and from them was mutual, Whenever he would tell a story or joke he began with the same line, '"Freddie did i ever tell you about" -- and I would interrupt him with "yes Manny, I heard it a dozen times" then came the usual answer " I'll tell you again maybe I missed something." Another thing that we always enjoyed was his insisting that we speak Yiddish to each other so that we wouldn't forget it. Rest in peace dear friend. You'll be missed. You were a real "mench" Lillian & Freddie Rudy

On behalf of my family, we offer our deepest condolences to the Cohen family on this solemn day. I remember Manny as a wonderfully kind man who always had time to speak to the youngest and odd-out person at the family gatherings. He was an amazing person to have discussions with, and I always learned something life-changing in talking to him. May he rest in peace on the wings of angels.

Dear family, We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Manny, our favourite raconteur! He will be so dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. When we saw one another or spoke on the phone, he would speak so kindly of our late father and father in law Louis Shapiro. They were very close in Manny’s younger years and they both had the “gift of gab” which made for some very enjoyable times together. Manny will be lovingly remembered by all of us. (As we are out of town, we will not be at the funeral but will attend on line)
