Yvonne Marion Weiss

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Yvonne Marion Weiss announces her passing on Tuesday morning, August 27, 2024, after a long, hard fought battle with multiple illnesses, at the Jewish General Hospital. Yvonne, daughter of Albert and Gabriella Weiss, was born in Paris, France, November 21, 1946. Yvonne leaves behind her brother, George, nephew, David, and cousins, Suzette and Robert Dutch, all of whom will miss her dearly. Her life was dedicated to being the best “auntie” to her nephew, niece, cousins, and children of close friends. Yvonne’s wisdom and advice were there for anyone who would talk with her, and her spirit will live on through the life lessons she generously shared. These have been memorialized in her podcast and poetry book, both titled “Journey”. A fighter since birth, Yvonne overcame a lot without ever losing her ability to carry love in heart to all the people she knew. She loved reading, listening to music, being outside, and cherished the opportunities she was able to travel with her cousin.
