On Thursday, November 21, 2024, in her one hundred and sixth year. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Weinberger and the late Samuel Reich. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Therese Weinberger and the late David Bohbot, Phil and the late Brenda Weinberger. Cherished Bubby of Marc and Pamela Miller, Michelle Miller, Lara Bohbot and Michael Watchorn; Joe and Valma Weinberger, Shoshana and Allon Pollak, Ali and Pat Lortie. Proud great-grandmother to seventeen wonderful great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Annie and the late David Kropveld; and sister-in-law of the late Stephan and the late Serena Weinberger, the late Rogie and the late Zev Weinberger, the late Freda and the late Andor Goldstein. Reina will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Mike Kropveld and Debbie Carroll, Phil Kropveld, Sylvain and Naomi Weinberger, Roz Weinberger, and the late Nora Regev. Predeceased by Joseph’s parents, Shalom and Raizel, and by his sisters, Blanka, Irene, Lily, Margit, who perished in the Holocaust. Special thanks to Reina’s exceptional caregiver, Rita, and to the nurses and staff of 4C at Hope Pavilion of the Jewish Eldercare Centre.
