In his eighty second year, after a courageous battle, on Thursday October 10, 2024.  Beloved husband of Myrna Steinberg for fifty-eight years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Jason and Dominique Cohen, Eric Cohen and Kiki Lachance.  Brother of Mark Cohen, and the late Bobby Cohen.  Dear brother-in-law of Norman Steinberg. Cherished “Zaidie” of Rose, Dahlia and Louis. Loving uncle of Sarah Cohen, to whom he was like a father, and of Brika Steinberg and Rachel Steinberg. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Palliative Care at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 13 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home. Due to the festival of Succoth, shiva ends Tuesday evening.
