Norman Merlin

After a lengthy battle, in his eighty-fourth year, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Beloved husband of Eleanor Rothman. Devoted father and father-in-law of Donna and Mitchell, Melanie and Peter, Dr. Scott and Dr. Yael. Cherished grandpa of Dr. Carly and Logan, Talia, Justin, Itai, Liav, Shai, and Nadav. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Shirley and the late Morty Merovitz, the late Leo and the late Joyce Rothman, the late Shirley and the late Neil Katz, and the late Judy Merlin.  Norman will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, friends and by all those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to nurse Kristine. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 9 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
