Nathan Norman “Quinn” Cohen

Nathan Norman “Quinn” Cohen died early morning in his bed on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the age of ninety-six. Devoted husband of the late Hanna Slattner Cohen for forty-two years.  Beloved father of Ilana Cohen and Heidi Cohen and Stephanie Estrin, and father-in-law of Micheal Estrin. Cherished Zaida of Marlee, Roarke, Cole, Ryan, Evan, Peter, Emily, and Lucy, and Alte Zaida of Daniel, David and Alexander.  Dear brother of the late Manny Cohen, the late Yetta Novak, and Abie Mallin, and brother-in-law of the late Mary Cohen, and the late Milton Novak. Treasured “Uncle Nathan” of Annie Cohen, Bernice Lowe, the late Rusty Lowe, the late Davie Cohen, Lilian Cohen, and Ila Novak, and their children and grandchildren.

Nathan “Quinn” will be fondly remembered for his easy-going, kind nature, good humor, sharp wit, sweet charm, and caring for others. To have known him is to have loved him. He worked until he was eighty-one years old, traveled all over the world with Hannah until he was ninety-one years old.  He had a good long life, and he did it “my way”.

Graveside service on Friday, September 20 at 12:00 noon at the Beth Israel Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, 4189 Sources Blvd., D.D.O. Shiva private.
