Holocaust Survivor
Peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025 in his ninety-fifth year. Best friend, soulmate and husband of the late Barbara Oksenberg for over seventy years. Loving and cherished father and father-in-law of Howard and Marla Oksenberg, Elaine Oksenberg Pantel and Barry Siskind, Penny Oksenberg and Hurd Stein, Joni Oksenberg and Marvin Garellek. Treasured Zaydie of Kelly and Berry, Lindsay; Noah; Blair, Rachel and Coit; Ryan and Rhianna, and Melissa. Adored great-Zaydie of Brooke. Predeceased by his loving parents, the late Pincus and the late Ray Oksenberg, and by Barbara’s parents, two sisters and brother who all perished in the Holocaust. Heartfelt gratitude to his caregivers Orange (his ‘angel’), Gloria and Nancy for their exceptional care and devotion, and to all the nurses and staff at Eldercare K6.
