Peacefully, a few months shy of her 100th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Philip Eisenberg. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Tommy Levy and Peggy Levy. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Joel, Ian and Susan, and Eric and Joni. Cherished grandmother of Robert and Hannah Eisenberg, and Meryl Eisenberg and Chris Nirenberg. Loving great-grandmother of Samuel, Miriam, and Jordan Eisenberg, and Liam, and Philip Nirenberg. Loving aunt of Allan Levy and special cousin of Stan Albert.
Mildred was an accomplished professional and the ultimate multitasker and she had a wonderful career while raising her three sons. She began her professional career as a teacher and guidance counsellor, and later in her 50's obtained her PhD to become a psychologist. In her later years after she moved to Toronto from Montreal, she continued her lifelong learning by taking courses and becoming active with senior groups at Holy Blossom Temple and the Bernard Betel Centre.
Mildred loved spending time with her family and had exceptional joy in recent years getting to know her five new great-grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to her caregivers Meriane, Digna, Jojie, Lucy, and Irene, for their kindness and dedication.
