It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of an amazing, brilliant soul, Michael Brennan. He was passionate about many things in his life, but his boundless love for his true soulmate Faye Swift, his much adored son Matthew, his doting daughter-in-law Margaux, and his three beautiful grandchildren – Tyler Izzy, Sloan Andrew and Charlotte Monroe Swift-Brennan – was unparalleled. His late in-laws, Yetta and Swifty, sister-in-law Ronda, nieces, cousins, and numerous friends were constantly in awe of Michael’s positive outlook and cherished his genuine smile.

Michael LIVED. Having overcome a brain aneurysm in his thirties and a heart transplant in his sixties, he treasured every day and enjoyed life to the fullest. He valued people and friendships and was always available with several full toolboxes to lend an expert hand to anyone in need.

The family would like to thank Michael’s best friend, Jim Wyant, for just being there; his brother-in-law, Dr. Arthur Swift, for coming to the rescue times too numerous to count; the unbelievably talented heart transplant team at the Glen Hospital for their concern and exceptional attention; and Michael’s dedicated caregiver, Eunice Garcia, because she truly cared.
