Marilyn Caplan (née Tolman)

Peacefully at home, on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Beloved wife of Hershy (Harold) Caplan. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Louisa Caplan and Gerry Bernstein, Patti-Ann Caplan and the late J.J. Glazer. Cherished Granny of Matthew, and Megan Boyer; Joshua, Eric, and Mitchell Glazer. Daughter of the late Peter and the late Mamie Tolman. Dear sister of the late Marvin Tolman; and sister-in-law of the late Miriam and the late Morris Palmer, Doreen Tanzer and the late Danny Caplan, the late Diane and the late Hy Granofsky, the late Vella and the late Asher Ben-Shalom, Sandy and the late Jerry Caplan. Marilyn will be sadly missed be her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and by all those who knew and loved her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, October 1 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her home following burial Tuesday until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Due to the advent of Rosh Hashanah, shiva will end Wednesday afternoon.
