On Monday, August 19, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Abraham Kon. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Hena Kon and Robert Pierce, Yehudit and Shlomo Ben Menachem. Cherished Bubby of Allan, Erin; Avishai and Bat-Chen; Yair and Inbal; Elyasaf and Moriah; Netanel and Aviya; Meir; Ariel; Dvir; and Elyashiv. Proud great-grandmother of Kerem, Lotem, Yarden, Regev, and Geffen. Dear sister of the late Beril Maroko. Predeceased by her in-laws the late Jean and the late Harvey Weigensberg; the late George and the late Marion Kon; the late Solly and the late Kathy Cohen. Gracious, kind, endlessly energetic, Marlene was the essence of goodness. She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, as well as by all who were privileged to know and love her.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at the home of Jewel and Lazar Sarna. Yehudit will sit Shiva in Montreal on Wednesday, August 21, and then at her home in Israel from Friday, August 23rd through Monday, August 26.
