Holocaust survivor
Peacefully, on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the age of ninety-eight. Loving and doting wife of the late Max for fifty-six years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Danny and Kitty. She was a daily presence during the childhood of her grandchildren, Keren (Erik) and Allen (Amanda). Lula took great pride and joy in her great-grandchildren, Solomon, Galileo, and Auggie. Predeceased by her twin sister, Irit, and survived by her older sister, Henja, both of Israel. Lula will be remembered for her dedication to her family. Special thanks to the 4th floor, staff of the Kastner Pavillion at the Donald Berman Jewish Eldercare Centre. Deep gratitude to her caregivers, Vangie, Apple and Josephine, who treated Lula with care and compassion during her final year.
