On Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the age of ninety-five. Beloved wife of the late Mortimer Hopkins for seventy-three years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Stanley and Joyce, Jeffrey and Sindy, and Rhonda and Arthur. Cherished Bubby of Ilana and Robbie, Mitchell, Livia and Jake, Samantha and Moishe, Aviva and Michael, and Sheera and Michael. Proud great-grandmother of nine. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Dora Korzinstone and the late Allan Korzinstone, Carole and the late Seymour Miller, the late Lou and the late Joyce Miller. Sister-in-law of Jack Hopkins and Kitty Samberg,  and the late Sylvia Hopkins Ionescu. 

Lillian returned to McGill University in her forties to become a teacher. She was a dedicated elementary school teacher in Laval for over twenty-five  years. 

Lillian was a devoted wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She reveled in playing bridge, square dancing and traveling with Morty. She had a passion for art, particularly sculpting. After her retirement, she enjoyed wintering in Florida with Morty and their friends. Lillian will be fondly and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Due to the festival of Succot, shiva begins Saturday evening and will be observed in Boca Raton, Florida, and beginning Monday in Toronto.
