Larry Geller

Larry Geller. Born June 3, 1935 – Died January 5, 2025

If the measure of a man is that he is loved, without exception, by every person who knew him, Larry was that man. During their 51 years together in Rosemere until her death in 2008, Nancy did the talking while Larry quietly led by example. He had a heart of gold, a spine of steel, and a merciless competitive streak – ask any of his racquetball friends (victims) at Tennis 13.  Starting his own business at 19, through determination, shrewd instincts and the occasional cunning move, he supported his family and himself until he closed up shop more than 50 years later.

His quiet, witty presence will be forever missed by his children and their families Jody (Peter), Rob (Terry), Mitch (BA) and Lianne (Dave), his adoring sisters Brenda (Mitch), Marsha (Mort) and Sonia (Warren), and all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless dear friends who loved him. His final years were blessed with the beautiful friendship of Reginae (Jeannie) Wachman who, like Nancy, shared his love of opera.

A life well-lived deserves a life well-ended. In his final days, Lazarus M. was blessed with the huge heart of Dr. Andrea Blotsky and the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital ICU.
