Leonard Albert

April 2, 1932 – December 31, 2024

Peacefully at home, as he had wished, surrounded by the love of his family. Loving husband and soulmate of the late Jeannie Albert. Beloved father and father-in-law of Wendy Albert (Andy Jacobs), Lissa Albert (Perry Tenser), and Mitchell Albert (Kerstin Lehr). Most beloved grandfather of Jason Serfaty, Andrew Serfaty (Juli Bermúdez Mejía), Max Serfaty (Adam Seward), Meghan Tenser, and Sam Tenser. Cherished uncle of Tracy Albert. Best buddy of Archie. Dear son of the late Jack and the late Sadie Albert, and brother of the late Fred Albert. Treasured son-in-law of the late Max and Anne Pressman. Leonard will be greatly missed by Paul Serfaty, and by his family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him. Heartfelt thanks to Leonard’s caregivers Analyn, Arlene, Jaye, Josie, and Noemi, and to Dr. Cruz and the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal (IUGM); deepest appreciation to Dr. Fink, Mark Ortizo, Maha Ghozayel, and to the nurses, and staff at the CLSC Côte-des-Neiges.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, January 3 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Hebrew Protective Cemetery, de la Savane.
