Peacefully on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Beloved son of Philip Khazzam (Carla). Cherished grandson of the late Madeleine and the late Jack Khazzam, and Bertha and the late Victor Shawn. Adored nephew of Mira, Ruth, Sass (Sharmeen), and Morris (Lili). Loving step-brother of Rodolfo (David) and Valentina (Gabriel). Jonathan will be deeply missed by Barney, his many cousins, extended family, and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Adam Mamelak and the entire team at Cedars Sinai for their kindness and devotion. The family would also like to thank Zak Poyo, Claudia, Renée, Laura Brock, Justin, Andrew, Armando, Robert and Caroline (the L.A. crew), the staff at Residence Selena, his devoted Montreal caregivers: Urszla, Christina, Jackie, Ruby, and Tess, Dr. Marcoux, and the trauma team at the Montreal General ICU.
