Isaac was born in Romania in 1922. In 1926, he arrived in Canada with his parents Hinda and Samuel and sisters Ray and Mary. His baby sister Annie was born soon after.

Issie’s love and devotion to his wife Jenny was truly inspiring and he never stopped missing her. He gave his love with his whole heart and never expected anything in return. He took interest in those he loved most and would make sure to ask them about their lives, work, education, families and their friends. When he had the opportunity, he would encourage them with his wise and thoughtful opinions. Issie was so appreciative of any visits, calls, cards or gestures. He was always grateful.

We are so incredibly thankful for the wonderful care and love shown to him by Josie Salvacion and Vincent Manzano. Special thanks to Michelle Esteban who was by his side for eight years, and to all the other devoted caregivers who helped let Isaac live out his life at home with dignity.
