It is with profound sadness that the family of Henry Feder announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in his ninety-seventh year in Studio City, California. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia Addis. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Stephen Feder and Jo Ann Mackenzie, David and Francine Feder, Audrey and George Kalman. Devoted grandfather of Jessica Mackenzie-Feder (Andres), Déric Mackenzie-Feder (Daniel), and Julien MacKenzie-Feder (Alysha); Michael, and Jordan Kalman; Alexandra, and Tarah Feder; Jason Magder (Garyn). Proud great-grandfather of Eva and Mateo Cisneros; Jesse and Owen Mackenzie; Dillon and Ty Magder. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jeff and Suzanne Feder, the late Harry and the late Sylvia Faversham, the late Ruth and the late Jack Bromley, the late Rita and the late Stan Levy, the late Myriam and the late Jerry Tuttleman.
Born in Germany, Henry came to Montreal in the late nineteen-forties to start a business in retail. It is shortly thereafter that he met Sylvia, his bride-to-be. Heartfelt gratitude to Henry’s daughter Audrey and son-in-law, George for taking exceptional care of him in the comfort of their own home, and special thanks to the staff of Skirball Hospice for their wonderful support. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday December 5 at 12:00 pm. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
