It is with deep sorrow that the family of George Finkelstein announces his peaceful passing on February 2, 2025, just shy of his seventy-fifth birthday, surrounded by his family.

George is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Rose Mary. Father and father-in-law of Jonathan and Tommy, Joshua and Karlos, Jennifer and Corey, and Jasmine. Grandfather of Cash and Bowie, and his five fur-grandchildren, Butter, Myko, Kairo, Diva and Mu. George is now reunited with his loving parents Jeno and Eva, and his brother Steve in Gan Eden. He will be missed by his sister Carri and her family, his brother John and his family.

George was a dedicated and passionate president of The Young Israel of Chomedey Synagogue and a man of profound faith who deeply loved his family and community.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on February 3 at 1:30 p.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Chomedey Congregation Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay.
