In Loving Memory of Eva Kaim-Komlos.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Eva, a Hungarian Holocaust survivor, three months shy of her 103rd birthday, on Saturday, October 5th, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Tibor for sixty-eight wonderful years. Devoted Mother and mother-in-law of Marika Komlos and Armando, and Robert and Eliane Komlos. Cherished Nagymama of Andre and Alyse Farkas, David, Tracy, and Lisa and Corey Newman. Treasured Great-Grandmother of Mavrick, Breaker, and Adira. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews and all who knew and loved her.

Eva will be remembered for her eternal optimism, unwavering strength, and unconditional love and devotion to her family. She touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of resilience and grace.

The family extends a special thank you to her incredible caregivers, Brenda, Maria, Irene and Justine, for their exceptional and compassionate support; and to the doctors and all staff of the Verdun Hospital for their remarkable and wonderful care during her final weeks.  Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, October 6 at 2:00pm. Shiva at her home.
