Holocaust Survivor
On Sunday, December 29, 2024, in his ninety-first year. Beloved husband of the late Bertha Rosenbluth. Loving father and father-in-law of Dr. Howard and Dr. Vivian (Loo), Stephen and Eve (Bercovitch). Cherished Zaida of Jacob and Dr. Gabi (Herman), Noah, Sophie, and Clara. Dear brother-in-law of Jackie and Bernie Poplack. He will be remembered with love by his nephews, nieces and friends. The family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude Elie’s caregiver Elvie Buhay for her devotion and friendship.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, January 2 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home. Donations in his memory may be made to the Montreal Holocaust Museum.
