Peacefully, in the presence of her loving family, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of ninety. Beloved wife of Nahum Gelber C.M., K.C. for sixty-five years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Allan and Wendy Gelber, Geoffrey Gelber and Isabelle Benoit-Gelber, Derek Arthur and Gwynne Schwartz.  Cherished Grandma Sheila of Casey and Zack, Kara and Ben, Danielle; and Jérémie. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Clarice and the late William-Paul Warren, the late Evelyn and the late Harold Ashley; and sister-in-law of Carl and Riva Gelber, the late Jessica and the late William I. (Bill) Miller. Sheila will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, friends and community. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jean-Lucien Rouleau and the entire staff at the Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, October 14 at 3:30 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at her home.
