Shiva is being held at 5775 Cavendish, Côte Saint-Luc in the family room located in the lobby on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., Monday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 18 from 12:30-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Shiva ends Wednesday morning, February 19.

C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès soudain de notre cher père Daniel Toledano, survenu à Washington DC, le lundi 3 février 2025. Fils regretté de Gotha et Haim Toledano, frère Perlette (Ley), Salomon, feu Odile (Wannon), feu Joseph. Père bien-aimé de Yann et Thierry Toledano. Oncle de plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Sa passion pour les mathématiques et la physique était remarquée par tous ceux qui l'ont connu. En plus d'être ingénieur de formation, il prenait plaisir à enseigner les mathématiques à tous les niveaux à des élèves en difficulté et à les voir s'épanouir dans leur carrière et leurs études.
Daniel était un ami bien-aimé pour de nombreux membres de sa communauté. Il a servi avec honneur en tant que shomer à la maison funéraire hébraïque Torchinsky. Son dévouement et sa gentillesse ont laissé un impact durable sur ceux qu'il a aidés.
Il manquera beaucoup à sa famille et à tous ceux qui l'ont connu.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father Daniel Toledano on Monday, February 3rd, 2025, in Washington DC. Dear son of Gotha and Haim Toledano. Brother of Perlette (Ley), Salomon, the late Odile (Wannon) and the late Joseph. Loving father of Yann and Thierry Toledano. Cherished uncle to many nephews and nieces.
Daniel's love and admiration for mathematics and physics was obvious to all those who knew him. In addition to being a trained electrical engineer, he took pleasure in teaching math at all levels to struggling students and seeing them flourish in their careers and academic pursuits.
Daniel was a beloved friend to many in his community. He served with honor as a shomer at Torchinsky Hebrew Funeral Home. His dedication and kindness left a lasting impact on those he assisted.
He will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him.
