Barbara Payne

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara on October 25, 2024 in her eighty-sixth year. Predeceased by her husbands Martin Abrams, Bert Lester, and Jack Gold. Daughter of the late Ben and the late Gertrude Payne. Beloved mother of her three sons Jamie, Stuart, and Gary Abrams. Cherished Bubby of Madison, Mikaela, the late Bailey. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jeffrey and Susan Payne. Barbara will be sadly missed by her nephews Shawn, and Richard (Karen), and her niece Jennifer Payne. Special thanks to the staff and her wonderful caregivers at the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their care, kindness, and devotion. A private graveside service took place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
