Barbara Oelberg (née Taylor)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Oelberg, affectionately known as “Nonnie” on Friday October 11, 2024, at St. Andrew Residential Centre. Loving wife of the late Henry Oelberg. Devoted mother of David of Lenox, Massachusetts and Brian of Ottawa, and mother-in-law of Liana Fraenkel of Lenox and Stefanie Oelberg of Ottawa. Caring grandmother of Emily (Patrick), Arya, Justin and Liam. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Karen Alvarez (the late Jorge), Penny Taylor (Michael), Diana Robson, and Clark Briggs (Martha).

Late in life, through the help of Manon Potvin (mother of Emily), she discovered the identity of her birth mother, Rose Susan Briggs (nee Shoshana Lerner) and at the age of eighty-four, she met her brother, Clark.
