Arthur Kirstein

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur on February 6, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s. Most cherished son of the late Bessie, and the late Moe Kirstein. Husband of the late Judi Stein.  Dearest brother and brother-in-law to Arlyne and Dr. Howard Fenster, Debbie and Morrie Mauer, Jeffrey and Brenda Kirstein, and the late Howard Kirstein. Arthur will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Alissa and David Train, Richard and Theresa Fenster, Jon and Kim Fenster, Sabrina Fenster and Casey Klinkeaw, Adam and Angie Ettinger, Bryan Zimmerman, and Jason and Ronni Kirstein, Brahm and Emilie Mauer, and Lauren and Jason Ehrlich. Arthur will be fondly remembered by his eleven great-nieces and great-nephews. Our family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Alain Dagher and Lucie Lachance of the MNH for their care and compassion. Our most sincere thank you to Cheryl and Annie for their constant devotion.  Funeral service on Sunday, February 9 2:30 p.m. from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Ouest. Burial at Adath Jeshurun Congregation Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva will be at Jeffrey’s home. Donations in his memory would be put to good use by the Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors, which was such an integral part of Arthur’s life and the community (514-734-1825).
