Allan Otter

Our beloved Allan passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer in his seventy-fourth year. Devoted father and father-in-law of Deborah Otter and Jeffrey Rombola, Rebeccah Otter and Christopher Handfield, Zax Otter, Jared Otter and Alexandre Desmanches. Predeceased by his parents, Zygmunt and Halina Otter. A special friend to many, Allan will be missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him. 

Allan loved the simple things in life - grapefruit in the morning and evening news at 6:00. He was passionate about his family, motorcycles, and music, and spent a lot of time investing in his health and the health of those close to him. From the latest dietary trends to booking time at the gym while traveling, he really put his energy into living and loving life. Special thanks to Dr. Kaedbey and the Hematology-Oncology team at the Jewish General Hospital, and to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Teresa Dellar for their compassionate care.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation section, Kehal Israel Cemetery (4189 Sources Blvd., D.D.O.).
